Support for innovation in agriculture and forestry – ZEMĚ II program
We bring you details of the ZEMĚ II subsidy program, which aims to support research organizations and businesses in the joint implementation of projects focused on applied research and innovation in agriculture, food production, and forestry.
This program has just been announced by the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and aims to support projects focused on bioeconomics, smart agriculture, and global changes in the biosphere. Projects can be multidisciplinary and strategic, with an emphasis on the practical applicability of results, such as new technologies, prototypes, varieties, methodologies, or software.
Who can apply for a grant
Applicants for project support may be:
- research organizations,
- legal entities and natural persons engaged in economic activities,
- state organizational units or organizational units of ministries and contributory organizations established by them engaged in research and development.
What can be supported by a grant
• personnel costs or expenses, including scholarships for research, development, and innovation in accordance with the Higher Education Act
• costs or expenses for subcontracting
• costs of assets used for the purposes of the project
• other costs
How much can you get
The total allocation is CZK 1.25 billion. The subsidy rate can reach up to 85% of the entire project.
