Community programs serve to increase cooperation and solving of problems common for member and candidate states of the EU in fields directly linked to politics of the EU.
The European Union contributes in the range of 40-75 % to chosen projects.
Community programs are managed by the European Commission or specialized agencies. Unlike structural fonds, they are not meant for a member state but for a specific program.
The principal aim of the OP EIC is to support development competitiveness and to help maintain a sustainable economy based on know-how and innovation. Czech corporations should be able to enter world markets and create plenty of job opportunities. The priorities in this programming period include developing economies based on know-how and innovation, supporting a more competitive market whith less burden on resources and supporting high employment.
